24/25 Season

Paul Lewis is the soloist and Eivind Aadland is conducting when the Oslo Philharmonic performs all five piano concertos over three nights. In the second concert of the week, you will hear Beethoven's second and third piano concertos.

Ludwig van Beethoven was himself the soloist and the star when he performed his first piano concertos. Paul Lewis is the soloist and Eivind Aadland is conducting when the Oslo Philharmonic performs all five piano concertos over three nights. This is the final concerts, with Beethoven's first and fourth piano concerto on the program.

The Oslo Philharmonic and Chief Conductor Klaus Mäkelä ends the season with colorful Norwegian, French and Russian music. Claude Debussy’s Jeux and Igor Stravinsky’s The Firebird were both written for the famous Russian ballet company in Paris.

Nysgjerrig på hva som rører seg blant nye norske komponister? Hør Oslo-filharmonien og operastudenter ved Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo fremføre musikk skrevet av fire avgangsstudenter ved Norges musikkhøgskole – Martin Torvik Langerød, Christoffer Håård, Victoria Nunes Finstad og James Layton.
