Privacy statement

This privacy statement explains what kind of personal data the Oslo Philharmonic processes, how we process it, and for what purposes.

Data controller

Oslo Philharmonic, represented by the CEO, is the controller of the personal data processed by the company. The data processing is to a great extent delegated. This will be explained in more detail in the following paragraphs.

Purposes and tools

The Oslo Philharmonic uses different cookies and analytic tools for different purposes on our website. You may block or turn off cookies in your browser.

These are the tools and services we use on our website, ofo.no:

Google Analytics: gathers data on how each user uses our website, how long they view each page etc. We use this information to provide a better website for our audience.

The gathered information is principally IP addresses. This information is not used by the Oslo Philharmonic or by our data processors to identify users, but it could theoretically be used for this purpose, and is therefore defined as personal data. Google deletes all information after 14 months.

DoubleClick/Floodlight: A Google service that gathers information to improve the quality of digital marketing campaigns.

Adform: An analysis tool that helps us measure and improve the effect of marketing campaigns.

Facebook Pixel: A Facebook service that helps us measure and improve the effect of marketing campaigns.

The gathered information is also used to select relevant advertisements for web users with a similar profile.

These tools are primarily managed via Google Tag Manager, and are administrated by the media agency RED on behalf of the Oslo Philharmonic. We have a data processor agreement with RED in alignment with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR.

Newsletter: If you subscribe to our newsletter, you’ll register your email address with our email service provider MailChimp. We have a data processor agreement with MailChimp in alignment with the requirements of GDPR.

Subscription order form: If you order one of our subscription series through a form on our website, you’ll enter the personal data we need to manage your subscription. We gather the personal data in alignment with the requirements of GDPR.

Buying tickets: If you buy tickets to one of our concerts online, the transaction happens on Ticketmaster’s website. We have a data processor agreement with Ticketmaster in alignment with the requirements of GDPR.

Job application form:  If you apply for a job with us, you’ll need to register your application and some personal data in a custom form. This service is provided by Item for the Oslo Philharmonic. We have a data processor agreement with Item in alignment with the requirements of GDPR.

Information via email: If you accept to receive information via email on Ticketmaster’s website, we’ll send you emails with useful information before and after our concerts. We use MailChimp for this, and HCL Nordic provides technical support in this process. We have a data processor agreement with HCL Nordic in alignment with the requirements of GDPR.

Youtube: We use embedded videos from our Youtube channel on our website. Playing the videos leads to Youtube using cookies.

Delete or receive data

If you want us to delete all your personal data, or would like to receive a record of your personal data from us, contact us at personvern@ofo.no. Some waiting time should be expected.
