24/25 Season

This week, two major classical stars are soloists on separate evenings. First up is Vilde Frang, the soloist in Igor Stravinsky’s Violin Concerto. Klaus Mäkelä also conducts music by George Enescu and Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

In this week’s final concert, star pianist Leif Ove Andsnes is the soloist in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5. On the same evening, Béla Bartók’s most famous orchestral work is also on the programme: Concerto for Orchestra.
