For choral singers who wish to take part in the sing-along version of Mozart’s Requiem, the day begins at 12:00 in the Main Hall of the Oslo Concert Hall. The first rehearsal will take place then, together with fellow participants, the Oslo Philharmonic Choir, and conductor Simon Halsey. At 16:30, it’s time for the dress rehearsal with the orchestra and soloists. The concert begins at 19:00, featuring the Oslo Philharmonic, soloists and a choir of several hundred singers.

This is the Oslo Philharmonic’s very first sing-along concert. Simon Halsey brings a wealth of experience from leading this popular concert format across Europe.

We kindly ask all participating singers to use the Bärenreiter edition of the Requiem in the Süssmayr version.
