Dvořák's cello concerto with Truls Mørk
Norwegian star cellist Truls Mørk is soloist in Dvorák’s Cello Concerto.
Antonín Dvorák wrote his cello concerto in B minor during a stay in New York, where he was the director of the national conservatory. The concerto received its premiere in London in 1896. Since then, it has become one of the most popular works for cello. The Oslo Philharmonic has recorded it with this week’s soloist Truls Mørk, one of the great cellists of our time.
