Oslo Philharmonic on tour to Asia

Hong Kong and Taiwan are the main destinations for the orchestra's tour to Asia.

Chief conductor Vasily Petrenko leads all the concerts on the Oslo Philharmonic's tour to Asia.

The orchestra will play two concerts in Hong Kong and two in Taiwan the upcoming week. Truls Mørk will be the soloist in cello concertos by Dmitri Shostakovich and Edward Elgar, and chief conductor Vasily Petrenko also will conduct music by Edvard Grieg, Geirr Tveitt, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Jean Sibelius.

The Oslo Philharmonic's concerts are part of the program of two big music festivals: Hong Kong Arts Festival are Taiwan International Festival of Arts.
