The Oslo Philharmonic on tour to England
Next week, the orchestra performs six concerts in six English cities.

From Monday 7th March to Sunday 13th March, English concertgoers will have the opportunity to experience some of the highlights from the Oslo Philharmonic's concerts in Oslo during the last months, as the orchestra embarks on their first big concert tour this year together with chief conductor Vasily Petrenko.
The orchestra will play orchestral pieces by Grieg and alternately Mahler's and Shostakovich's fifth symphonies, and Simon Trpčeski will be the soloist in Rachmaninoff's second piano concerto, with the exception of the concerts in London and Bristol, where Henning Kraggerud will be the soloist in violin concertos by Tchaikovsky and Sibelius.
The concerts will take place in Manchester (7th March), Basingstoke (9th March), London (10th March), Bristol (11th March), Birmingham (12th March) and Saffron Walden (13th March).
