Centenary season opens with concerts at Haugenstua, Holmlia and Hovseter

Our 100th anniversary season begins with a mini tour "Oslo Philharmonic in the neighbourhood" from 8th to 11th August.

The Oslo Philharmonic's 100th anniversary will be celebrated throughout the whole 2019/20 season.

Ever since the first years of its existence, the orchestra has played in different venues around Oslo, and the first event of the centenary will be free open air concerts in three different districts: At Haugenstua in the Stovner district, at Holmlia in the Søndre Nordstrand district and at Hovseter in the Vestre Aker district.

The concerts will also feature three local star performers: Hkeem, Harpreet Bansal and the band No. 4 (in photo).

Celebrates with the whole city

All the concerts will be held in green open spaces. The events will be family-friendly, and it will be possible to purchase food and non-alcoholic drinks.

The first concert will be at Haugenstua on Thursday 8th August at 18:00. Next stop is Holmlia on Saturday 10th August, before the last concert at Hovseter on Sunday 11th August.
