Watch Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 performed by the Oslo Philharmonic with choir and soloists, conducted by Klaus Mäkelä.

On 4th January 2019, the Oslo Philharmonic performed Ludwig van Beethovens Symphony No. 9 with Oslo Philharmonic Choir and the soloists Lauren Fagan (soprano), Hanna Hipp (mezzo soprano) Tuomas Katajala (tenor) and Shenyang (bass baritone).
There was a lot of buzz around the concert, as it was conductor Klaus Mäkelä's first concert with the orchestra after him being appointed the Oslo Philharmonic's chief conductor designate, taking over from August 2020.
