Queen Sonja Singing Competition 2025: Finale
For the first time since Lise Davidsen won the competition in 2015, the Oslo Philharmonic once again hosts the Queen Sonja International Music Competition. Six finalists will join the orchestra, under the leadership of conductor Nicholas Carter.
Through a selection process that began in April, hundreds of applicants will be narrowed down to six finalists who will take the stage with the Oslo Philharmonic in August. Nicholas Carter will conduct, and the winner of the final will receive a prize of €50,000. The Queen Sonja International Music Competition has helped launch many talents onto the international opera scene, and we can look forward to vocal artistry of the highest level.
