Alpesh Chauhan conducts the Oslo Philharmonic at the late summer’s big event in the capital city.
The Oslo Philharmonic’s tradition for large outdoor concerts is almost as old as the orchestra itself. In recent times, Holmenkollen, the City Hall Square (Rådhusplassen) and Myraløkka were some of the sites hosting this event before the first concert took place at the Palace Square in 2017.
After the third Palace Park concert opened the orchestra’s centenary in 2019, the Corona pandemic deprived us of the next two seasons. Now we are back with conductor Alpesh Chauhan and some great soloists.
