Oslo Philharmonic Choir 100 years

Oslo Philharmonic Choir 100 years
Oslo Philharmonic Choir celebrates its centenary with a festive concert, with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and the conductors Cathrine Winnes and Øystein Fevang, presented by Ingrid Bjørnov.
The Oslo Philharmonic Choir performed on stage for the first time in 1921 and it celebrates its centenary in the 2021/22 season. The big celebration takes place tonight, and is presented by Ingrid Bjørnov.
There will be music by Giuseppe Verdi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Georg Friedrich Händel and Knut Nystedt, and the choir members have helped shape the programme by voting for their favourites. There will be two world premieres, by Eva Holm Foosnæs and Trond Lindheim, especially written for the occasion.
