Qualified applicants will receive invitation to audition after the closing date. We are expecting many applicants and due to this, candidates not currently holding a permanent position in a professional symphony orchestra will be asked to qualify.
All candidates not invited directly to the first round of the main audition on May 27th can choose to send a sound recording before April 15th or play a live qualification round on May 26th.
Regarding recorded qualification: The excerpts are to be performed in a given order in one continuous, unedited recording. The jury will listen to the recordings 1-2 days after the deadline and results will be sent out by email immediately after this. Applicants choosing to qualify by recorded audition can not participate in the live qualification round. Detailed information on how to upload the recording will be included with the invitation.
Audition requirements for sound recording and qualification round are the following excerpts from the published collection:

- No 3: Brahms: Symphony no 4, 4th movement
- No 8: Mahler: Symphony no 10, Finale
