All candidates not invited directly to the first round of the main audition on 11 February can choose to send a sound recording before 18 January or play a live qualification round on 10 February.
Audition requirements for sound recording and qualification round are the following excerpts from the published collection:
- No. 11: Mussorgsky/Ravel: Promenade
- No. 14: Ravel: Piano Concerto
- No. 34: Strauss: Till Eulenspiegel
- No. 3: Berlioz: Symphonie Fantastique
Regarding recorded qualification:
The excerpts are to be performed in this order in one continuous, unedited recording.
The jury will listen to the recordings 1-2 days after the deadline and results will be sent out by email immediately after this. Applicants choosing to qualify by recorded audition can not participate in the live qualification round. Detailed information on how to upload the recording will be included with the invitation.
